    I moved to Reston with my family in 1969. I completed my K-12 education in Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated from Oakton High School in 1982. I have lived in Reston, Herndon and Great Falls and currently reside in Sterling/Potomac Falls. I am very knowledgeable of the schools, the neighborhoods and all that our area of Northern Virginia has to offer. I am often called upon by friends for complimentary conciere service which I am always happy to oblige. If you want it, I can find it!

    I graduated from Emory University with a BA in Classics. I then attended George Mason University where I was working towards a combination BSN/MSN with a specialty in Midwifery. But I met the man of my dreams and the rest is history.

  •  I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of MD in Cambridge. I grew up hunting waterfowl, and picking and eating the great Blue Crab of the Chesapeake Bay.  To this day I still consider the blue crab and the Rock Fish to be the best eating experience you can have.  After leaving Cambridge I spent the next 30 years of my professional career working in the IT industry, starting as a computer technician repairing computers back when a computer was the size of a refrigerator.  I worked my way up the corporate ladder and ended my IT career as President and Chief Operating Officer of a NASDAQ listed company.  The experience that I gained in negotiating contracts with both vendors and clients over a 30 year period has served me well in my career as a REALTOR. It also taught me how to be a “people person” since a company is nothing without its clients and its relationships.  
  • My wife Kim and I have been able to establish a highly successful real estate business by capitalizing on my business experience in managing companies and her experience and knowledge of the real estate market in the Northern Virginia area.  The procedures and processes we have established in our business practice guarantees our clients the best possible Real Estate experience whether they are buying or selling.  
  • I have also been a Professional Real Estate Investor for the past several years which has given me a vast level of knowledge that I am happy to share with our clients.  I am a member of several investment groups that continually keep me abreast of the investment market.  
  •  I also enjoy working with first time homebuyers to help them reach the American dream of owning their own home.  To better serve them I have become a Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) Qualified Trainer.  This gives me the knowledge to pass on to first time buyers the buying process and the special loans available only to first time home buyers through VHDA.

  • Nicole grew up in Northern Virginia where she attended Park View High School.  She attended Longwood University and graduated with a Bachelors' of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. 
  • Nicole has been with Kim Spear Properties for over 3 years working as Kim's Professional Real Estate Assistant and Transaction Coordinator. 
  • With Nicole growing up, living and working in Loudoun County she has gained vast knowledge of Northern Virginia and Loudoun County in particular.   Nicole has recently earned her Real Estate License and is looking forward to using all the knowledge she has gained by working with Kim Spear Properties to help buyers find the home of their dreams. 

 Nancy Tessman, REALTOR®                                                                                            

  • Nancy was born and raised in Long Island, New York.  And has lived in Loudoun County for over 22 years.

  • She graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Materials Engineering and a minor in Management. She earned a Masters of Engineering Management degree from George Washington University

  • Nancy is married to her college sweetheart, Michael, and they have two sons.

  • Nancy is extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and schools in Loudoun County.  She has 2 children who attend Loudoun County Public schools and is an active volunteer in the PTA but the volunteering she enjoys most is her time spent as a Cub Scout Den Leader.

  • In her last corporate position, she was the Senior Manager in the Corporate Real Estate Group where she negotiated capital leases and space for internet data centers and Sales Offices around the world.

  • Her business experience in contractual work, her attention to detail and negotiating on 5 different continents gives her clients an advantage during the contracts & negotiation phase of the real estate process.  She also notes her engineering background helps her assist her clients to identify and understand what they are looking for when buying a home. 

  • She loves to work with buyers especially first time homebuyers.  She prides herself on the amount of time she takes with each client explaining the buying process so they feel comfortable in each and every step along the way to owning a home.
